Prior to the 2024 season, Baseball America ranked him as the No. 5 prospect in the Rangers’ organization.

In his Major League career with the Texas Rangers (2023-24), White has made five appearances, recording an 0-1 record and a 16.71 ERA over 7.0 innings, with 14 hits, 13 earned runs, three walks, four strikeouts, and three home runs allowed. Across four Minor League seasons in the Rangers’ system (2021-24), the right-hander has a 19-16 record with one save and a 4.37 ERA in 78 games (61 starts), totaling 323.1 innings pitched, 295 hits, 169 runs (157 earned), 138 walks, 327 strikeouts, and 39 home runs allowed.

Originally from Mount Ulla, North Carolina, White was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the second round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft out of Carson High School. He was designated for assignment by the Rangers on December 20, 2024, and subsequently traded to the Cincinnati Reds for cash considerations on January 6, 2025. The Reds then designated him for assignment on January 29, 2025.

To create space on their 40-man roster, the Yankees designated right-handed pitcher Allan Winans for assignment.
