MAJOR-BREAKING: Vikings Star Justin Jefferson’s Hilarious NFL Honors Moment Goes Viral

Even Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson isn’t immune to embarrassing moments. At the NFL Honors on February 7, Jefferson took the stage to give a speech honoring Randy Moss in his battle with cancer.

Just moments into his speech, Jefferson accidentally hit the microphone with his hand. But things took an even more awkward turn when the teleprompter froze shortly after. “The prompter… the prompter, I’m sorry guys,” he said, trying to work through the technical issue. After a brief pause, he laughed and said, “Alright, that’s good, we gon’ start it over,” before rephrasing his opening, which had the crowd laughing and applauding.

NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt defended Jefferson, praising how his reaction and quick thinking made him even more relatable and likable to fans.

“You have the coolest-looking person ever, who is so charismatic… and he’s forced into reading the dumb teleprompter script that someone wrote, and he goes completely mechanical,” Brandt explained on “Good Morning Football” on February 7.

“And then for whatever reason, after the first paragraph, the prompter freezes—dude, we’ve all been there, it’s paralyzing—and the fact that he not only handled it but made the audience like him even more… Justin, I’ve never loved you more, I’ve never been more impressed with you,” Brandt added.
