### **Record-Breaking Potential for Gamecocks in the NFL Draft**
South Carolina has a chance to make history this spring. The program’s record for most players selected in a single NFL Draft is seven, achieved in 2009 and 2013. With 11 Gamecocks invited to the combine, this year’s draft class could surpass that mark.
### **Kai Kroeger’s Special Opportunity**
Punter **Kai Kroeger**, a two-time All-American, earned an invitation to the NFL Combine Specialist Showcase after a standout performance at the East-West Shrine Bowl.
*“It means the world to me,”* Kroeger told *GamecockCentral*. *“As a kid growing up with dreams of playing in the NFL, the combine is what you hope to get to. I’m just super excited for this opportunity and grateful to pursue my dream.”*
The specialist showcase, introduced last year, provides punters, kickers, and long snappers with a platform to impress NFL scouts. This year’s event will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis from February 25-27.
Stay tuned as South Carolina’s finest showcase their talents on one of football’s biggest stages!
