Breaking; Mizzou Football Launches Spring Camp: New Transfers, Rising Stars, and the Road to 2025 – What to Watch

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ) – The Mizzou football team has completed its first two spring practices, marking the early stages of preparation for the 2025 season. On Saturday, the Tigers held their second practice inside the Stephens Indoor Practice Facility, with family and friends in attendance. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz emphasized that spring practices are primarily about individual player development rather than installing specific schemes for the upcoming season.

The media was granted access to the first 20 minutes of practice, offering a glimpse of the team’s offseason additions, including transfers like quarterback Beau Pribula (Penn State) and wide receiver Kevin Coleman. These newcomers, part of Mizzou’s Top-3 ranked 2025 transfer portal class, are still adjusting and will need to earn their jersey numbers. The Tigers are also looking for new leaders to emerge following the departure of key veterans such as quarterback Brady Cook, wide receiver Theo Wease Jr., and defensive end Johnny Walker Jr.

Extended highlights of the practice and full press conferences with Drinkwitz, safety Daylan Carnell, and wide receiver Joshua Manning are available to watch. The Tigers will continue their spring camp with four more practices next week as they focus on building depth and developing talent for the upcoming season.
