BREAKING; “NFL GM Reveals Shocking Price for Giants to Land the No. 1 Draft Pick—What Would It Take to Make the Blockbuster Move?”

The New York Giants are entering a pivotal offseason that could define the franchise’s trajectory for years to come. A major question looms: what will the front office do at quarterback?

General manager Joe Schoen has made it clear the Giants plan to take a “big swing” this offseason to address the position. Their first attempt fell short—Matthew Stafford opted to stay with the Los Angeles Rams—but other opportunities remain, whether through free agency, a trade, or the draft. Holding the No. 3 overall pick, the Giants don’t have the luxury of selecting a quarterback without risk, making a trade up to the No. 1 spot a strong possibility. The Tennessee Titans, who currently own the top pick, have shown openness to moving it, but what would it cost the Giants?

According to SNY, the compensation might not be excessive. One general manager (unaffiliated with the Titans or Giants) suggested an exchange of first-round picks and two third-rounders could be enough to secure the deal. However, if a bidding war emerges, the Giants might need to part with a second- and third-round pick.

Schoen’s “big swing” could target Miami quarterback Cam Ward, who reportedly ranks above Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders on nearly every team’s draft board, as NJ Advance Media learned at the NFL Combine. One source familiar with the draft emphasized that Ward is “by far the best quarterback in the draft—by far.” Ward’s impressive 2023 season, where he threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions while completing 67.2% of his passes, has solidified his standing as a top prospect.

The Giants’ offseason moves will be critical as they aim to secure a franchise quarterback and set the stage for future success.
