“BREAKING: Ohio State’s Quinshon Judkins Rockets Up NFL Draft Boards—First-Round Pick Now in Play?”

The Ohio State Buckeyes are poised to send several standout players to the NFL this year, with many expected to hear their names called during next month’s draft. However, the big question is how many Buckeyes will land in the first round. One of the most intriguing prospects is running back Quinshon Judkins, who transferred to Ohio State from Ole Miss and made a significant impact in his lone season in Columbus.

Judkins, an electrifying playmaker, had a stellar 2024 campaign, but most analysts have pegged him as a Day 2 pick, ranking him as the fourth-best running back in this year’s class. However, the 21-year-old is quickly climbing draft boards, and Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson believes Judkins could sneak into the first round.

“Keep an eye on Judkins potentially scooting into the first round of the draft to a team that mirrors his style of play at the position and has a need for a long-term running back solution (*cough* Pittsburgh Steelers),” Robinson wrote.

This potential rise is surprising, considering Judkins was initially projected as a third-round pick. Last season, he rushed for 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 5.5 yards per carry, while also adding 22 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

Interestingly, Judkins might not even be the top Ohio State running back in this draft, as TreVeyon Henderson also turned heads with his impressive 2024 performance.

With the draft just weeks away, all eyes will be on where Judkins lands—and whether he can defy expectations by becoming a first-round selection.
