BREAKING;”All-Pro WR Shocks NFL Fans with Surprise Contract Signing with New England Patriots!”

Stefon Diggs, New England Patriots, Reach Contract Agreement

After a tumultuous offseason, the Buffalo Bills decided that Stefon Diggs was no longer worth the trouble and traded him to the rising Houston Texans. Following contract adjustments that made him a free agent after the 2024 season, Diggs began the year strong. Over the first eight games, he accumulated 47 receptions for 493 yards and three touchdowns on 64 targets. Unfortunately, Diggs suffered a torn ACL, sidelining him for the rest of the season.

Diggs entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick in the 2015 Draft, selected by the Minnesota Vikings. The Maryland native quickly exceeded expectations, registering 52 receptions for 720 yards and four touchdowns in his rookie year. He continued to impress, forming a standout receiver duo with Adam Thielen. His most notable season with the Vikings came in 2019, when he recorded 63 catches for 1,130 yards and six touchdowns.

Unhappy with Minnesota’s run-heavy offense, Diggs requested a trade, landing a lucrative contract with the Buffalo Bills. The move paid off for Buffalo, as Diggs enjoyed a career-best season, playing all 16 games and leading the league with 127 receptions and 1,535 yards while scoring eight touchdowns. His success aligned with quarterback Josh Allen’s rise, and together, they led the Bills to the AFC Championship Game.

Diggs continued to shine over the next three years, earning four Pro Bowl selections during his time with the Bills. Since entering the league, he has amassed 857 receptions, 10,491 yards, and 70 touchdowns on 1,242 targets.
