MAJOR-NEWS: Yankees Fan Goes Viral As He Makes Great Modification To Old Juan Soto Jersey – See the Bold Message He Sent!

A New York Yankees fan went viral on Thursday after altering his Juan Soto jersey in a bold move. Soto, who was acquired by the Yankees in the offseason and had a standout season with the team, left for the rival Mets in free agency.

During his time with the Yankees, Soto had an impressive year, batting .288 with 31 doubles, 41 home runs, and a .989 OPS, while leading the league with 128 runs scored, helping the team reach the World Series.

However, despite his stellar performance, many Yankees fans are frustrated by his departure, and one fan decided to show his displeasure by modifying his No. 22 jersey. He covered up the “oto” on the back with tape and wrote “Sellout” instead.

Had he never put Soto’s name on the jersey, he could’ve easily supported current Yankees player Ben Rice, who also wears No. 22, but this fan clearly preferred to make a statement.

Meanwhile, Soto made his Mets debut on Thursday, going 1-for-3 with two walks and a strikeout, although his team lost 3-1 to the Houston Astros. The Yankees, on the other hand, triumphed 4-2 over the Brewers in their season opener.
