BREAKING; INJURY UPDATE: Team Express Positivity Over The Return Of Two Key Players After Injury Spell.

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for one of their most anticipated matchups of the NFL season on Sunday as they face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the biggest concern heading into the game is the status of their receiving corps.

Both Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper missed Buffalo’s Week 10 win over the Indianapolis Colts due to wrist injuries. Coleman has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game, marking his second consecutive missed contest.

When asked about the possibility of Coleman being placed on injured reserve, head coach Sean McDermott offered reassurance. “No,” McDermott said. “We’re still optimistic, as I’ve been told by the trainers, that he’s improving. It’s just not expected that he’ll be back this week.”

Cooper’s situation is more uncertain, as he has missed the last two games but has not yet been ruled out for Sunday’s contest. McDermott was less definitive when discussing Cooper’s status. “If I knew… I think a lot of it comes down to pain tolerance and threshold,” McDermott explained. “We’ll just have to see.

I’m not exactly sure of all the medical terms; I just rely on the feedback I get from [head athletic trainer] Nate [Breske] and go from there.”

Cooper’s availability for Sunday will likely depend on his participation in practice later this week. Regardless of the outcome, the Bills will be hoping to have their newly acquired receiver available for their showdown with the defending Super Bowl champions. Through 10 weeks, Coleman and Cooper have combined for 667 receiving yards.
