The Atlanta Braves’ 2025 Roster Just Got a Major Upgrade – Meet the New Faces!

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Atlanta Braves have welcomed several fresh faces to their roster, all eager to contribute to the team’s quest for another World Series title.

So, how many new players are joining the Braves this season?

The answer is seven!

Curious to know who they are? Here are the new players added to the Braves roster this year:

Nick Allen, an infielder from San Diego, hit an RBI single in the third inning during a spring training game against the Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers, Fla., on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025.

With over 200 games played in his MLB career, Allen has accumulated 146 hits and nine home runs across 709 at-bats.

Drake Baldwin, a catcher for the Braves, took the field during the fifth inning of a spring training game against the Chicago Cubs on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Mesa, Ariz.

This marks Baldwin’s first major league season. He made his debut at the Braves’ Opening Day game in San Diego against the Padres on March 27. At just 24 years old, Baldwin is regarded as the Braves’ top prospect for the 2025 season.

Bryan De La Cruz, the Atlanta Braves’ right fielder, celebrated an RBI single during the fifth inning of a spring training game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, in Bradenton, Fla.

De La Cruz began his professional career in 2021 with the Miami Marlins and joined the Braves as a free agent in December 2024. Over the course of his MLB career, he has tallied 427 hits and 58 home runs in more than 400 games.

Enyel De Los Santos, a right-handed pitcher for the Atlanta Braves, threw in the third inning during a spring training game against the Toronto Blue Jays in North Port, Fla., on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

De Los Santos was briefly assigned to the Gwinnett Stripers before signing as a free agent with the Braves in December 2024. He was invited to spring training in January as a non-roster starter and had his contract selected by the Braves in March.

Héctor Neris, a right-handed pitcher, made his MLB debut in 2014 and joined the Braves as a free agent in March for spring training. After being selected from the Gwinnett Stripers, Neris has accumulated 741 strikeouts in his career. However, in 2025, Neris allowed five earned runs in one inning across two games, leading the Braves to designate him for assignment on March 31.
