There’s no sugarcoating it—the Atlanta Braves’ offense has been painfully bad to start the 2025 season. With far too many lifeless at-bats and an abysmal showing with runners in scoring position, the Braves rank second-to-last in runs scored… just barely above the Rockies. Yes, the Rockies. That’s flat-out unacceptable for a lineup this stacked with talent.

Thankfully, there was a flicker of life when it mattered most. In the top of the ninth, Nick Allen roped a leadoff double, and Michael Harris II—aka “Money Mike”—finally delivered the clutch moment fans have been begging for. His two-run bomb gave Atlanta a late lead, and though it was shaky, it was enough to secure the win.
