BREAKING: Gamecocks Fans REJOICE! Star Player Makes SHOCKING Decision to Return to South Carolina Football!

Brady Hunt, a 6-foot-5, 253-pound tight end who transferred to the University of South Carolina from Ball State last offseason, has signed a new NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deal with the Gamecocks’ official collective, Garnet Trust. This agreement guarantees Hunt’s return for the upcoming season.

During the 2024 season, Hunt was part of South Carolina’s three-tight end rotation alongside Joshua Simon and Michael Smith, contributing two receptions for 22 yards, including a key first-down catch in the win over Missouri. His ability to block and catch passes was evident, and with Simon running out of eligibility, Hunt is expected to take on a more significant role next season.

Before joining South Carolina, Hunt had an impressive 2022 season at Ball State, recording 46 catches for 498 yards and five touchdowns. His success at Ball State and subsequent transfer to South Carolina highlight his potential to be a key contributor to the Gamecocks’ offense.

This NIL deal underscores South Carolina’s focus on retaining key players. Garnet Trust has played a crucial role in securing such agreements, helping ensure players like Hunt stay with the team. Head coach Shane Beamer has emphasized the importance of building strong relationships with players and maintaining open communication to create a positive team culture.
