
Another South Carolina Gamecock is off the board, as the Las Vegas Raiders selected defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway with the 135th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
A seasoned leader on South Carolina’s defensive front, Hemingway appeared in 61 career games, consistently showcasing toughness, versatility, and reliability. At (Insert Measurables if desired), he has the ability to move across the defensive line and make plays against both the run and the pass.
Throughout his college career, Hemingway tallied 112 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, 11 pass breakups, six fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles, and even found the end zone once. In 2024, he earned Third-Team All-SEC honors from College Football Nation and was the recipient of the Ray Tanner Award, recognizing his leadership and character both on and off the field.
Hemingway’s relentless motor, high football IQ, and versatility should make him an immediate asset for the (Insert Team) defensive line, with the potential to develop into a starter.
