Windsor High’s Terrell Huff Named Giants’ Week 8 Flag Football Coach of the Week
The New York Giants have honored Coach Terrell Huff of Windsor High School in Windsor, Connecticut, as their High School Flag Football Coach of the Week for Week 8 of the 2025 season.
This weekly award is part of the Giants’ initiative to promote and support girls’ flag football at the high school level. Each week during the season, one outstanding head coach is selected based on their leadership, dedication to youth development, and impact within their local community.
To celebrate Coach Huff’s recognition, The Giants Foundation will present a $2,000 donation to the Windsor High School girls flag football program. Coach Huff will also receive an official certificate of recognition signed by Giants head coach Brian Daboll and will be honored at a postseason ceremony as well as during a 2025 Giants preseason home game.
Under Coach Huff’s leadership, the Windsor Warriors captured their first-ever Central Connecticut Conference title, defeating Southington High School 18-0. The team was dominant throughout the season, outscoring opponents 169-36 and recording four shutouts. Windsor High was also one of the founding schools of the conference’s girls flag football league and frequently hosts league events. The Warriors will now move on to compete in the inaugural CIAC State Tournament on June 7, held at their home field.
Beyond flag football, Coach Huff serves as an assistant coach for Windsor’s tackle football team in the fall and operates his own health and wellness center. A proud Windsor High alum, Huff played linebacker at Central Connecticut State University and earned his bachelor’s there before completing an MBA at Assumption University. Deeply rooted in the Windsor community, Huff continues to inspire local youth through football, mentorship, and a focus on overall student-athlete development.
“Coach Huff is a young, energetic coach whose strong presence and passionate spirit has inspired our young ladies on and off the field,” said Chris Fulton, Windsor High’s Athletic Director.
