David Pastrnak Named to NHL Second All-Star Team After Another Stellar Season
David Pastrnak’s impressive season didn’t go unnoticed, as the NHL honored him on Thursday with a spot on the Second All-Star Team.
This marks the second time in his career he’s earned the distinction, having previously been selected to the First Team in both 2019-20 and 2022-23.
The Bruins star was a constant presence in the lineup, suiting up for all 82 regular-season games. He racked up 106 points, scoring 43 goals and adding 63 assists, marking his fourth 40-goal season and third straight year topping the 100-point mark.

The 2024-25 campaign didn’t start smoothly for Pastrnak, as he endured a goal drought that lasted over a month before finally scoring on January 5. However, he turned his season around in dramatic fashion, finishing strong despite a tough year for the team overall.
In the wake of Brad Marchand’s trade to the Florida Panthers, Pastrnak embraced a larger leadership role. At 29, he may be in the running to wear the captain’s “C” next season, depending on whether the Bruins choose to name a new team leader.
