JUST-IN: QB Crisis Coming As Giants Star Drops Truth Bomb on Explosive QB Controversy Brewing Behind the Scenes No One’s Talking About

The New York Giants believe they’ve finally laid the groundwork for a long-term solution at quarterback — and some of their key playmakers are beginning to take notice.

This offseason, the Giants signed veterans Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston, intending for both to help guide a rookie quarterback. That rookie arrived in April when New York drafted Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick. The franchise is optimistic that their quarterback carousel may finally be over.

So far, offseason practices have only reinforced their confidence — unless, of course, a “quarterback competition” morphs into full-blown controversy.

For now, however, young running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. — a former fifth-round pick who has become the team’s primary offensive weapon outside of Malik Nabers — is encouraged by the quarterback room.

“The leadership in there is huge for the locker room and the team as a whole,” Tracy said during a recent appearance on Good Morning Football. “You’ve got Russ, Mr. Unlimited. Then there’s Jameis — the guy with all the personality. And Jaxson Dart, Mr. Cool Dude, with that swagger. They each bring something different that we really need.”

Wilson is currently expected to start the 2025 season under center. But make no mistake — the organization’s future hinges on Dart’s development.

By surrounding Dart with experienced veterans, the Giants hope they’re setting him up for long-term success. Tracy, for one, likes what he sees from all three quarterbacks so far.

Only time will tell whether that plan leads to a stable transition — or sparks a quarterback controversy.
