BLOCKBUSTER Move? Josh Allen Eyeing Jordan Addison to Take Down Mahomes and Rule the AFC!

In their most recent AFC Championship appearance, the Buffalo Bills once again came up short, falling to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs—continuing their long-standing quest for a Super Bowl title, a feat the franchise has never achieved.

Josh Allen remains the centerpiece of Buffalo’s success and their hopes of contending in the AFC. However, the team is in desperate need of offensive weapons. The departure of Stefon Diggs last season left a noticeable gap, and although the mid-season addition of Amari Cooper provided a boost, it wasn’t enough in the fiercely competitive AFC landscape.

Now, the Bills are reportedly front-runners to land rising star wide receiver Jordan Addison. Drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, Addison has quickly made a name for himself. Through the 2024 season, the former USC standout has tallied 133 receptions for 1,786 yards and 19 touchdowns—an impressive start to his young career.

Addison is known for his speed and dependable hands, traits that propelled him into the first round and have translated well in the NFL. However, with Justin Jefferson commanding the WR1 role in Minnesota, Addison may be seeking an opportunity to lead elsewhere.

According to oddsmakers in Las Vegas, the Bills are currently the favorites to pursue a trade for him. The Vikings would likely demand significant compensation—potentially more than a first-round pick—given Addison’s production and potential.

If the Bills are serious about contending for a Super Bowl, surrounding Josh Allen with a top-tier target is essential. Allen, who signed a six-year, $330 million extension with $250 million guaranteed (the most guaranteed money in NFL history), is among the league’s elite. Now, it’s up to the front office to arm him with the talent needed to finally bring a championship to Buffalo.
