BREAKING; Giants Eye Shocking QB Move: Two Veteran Targets Could Change Everything

Spring is here, but the New York Giants are still searching for a quarterback to lead them in the 2025 season. While Aaron Rodgers remains their top choice, the 41-year-old is in no rush to make a decision. In the meantime, the Giants have begun exploring other veteran options, bringing in quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, Joe Flacco, and Jameis Winston for visits.

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic (via Bleacher Report’s Timothy Rapp), the Giants are “hoping” to land either Wilson or Flacco, with one of them likely serving as a backup plan if Rodgers goes elsewhere.

Rodgers is reportedly weighing options between the Giants and Steelers, while also considering retirement—or potentially holding out for interest from the Minnesota Vikings. If the Giants grow tired of waiting, they could quickly pivot to Wilson or Flacco, though both are also drawing interest from teams like the Steelers and Browns.

As it stands, Tommy DeVito is the only quarterback currently under contract for the Giants. After a 2024 season that saw four different quarterbacks combine for just 15 touchdowns to 13 interceptions, the team is eager for an upgrade. Importantly, signing a veteran wouldn’t rule out drafting a quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick in April’s draft.
