Kim Mulkey has transformed LSU’s women’s basketball program into a national powerhouse in recent years. With key players like Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson, and Hailey Van Lith, LSU has become a dominant force in the SEC. Heading into the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers were ranked No. 3 and secured victories over Arkansas State, Florida State, and NC State.
However, after a loss to UCLA in the Elite Eight, Mulkey faced the task of retooling the roster for the future. While she didn’t make any new additions, Mulkey received great news with the return of Jersey Wolfenbarger for her senior season, as reported by Matthew Brune.
Wolfenbarger, who spent her first two college years with the Arkansas Razorbacks, played her lone season with LSU in 2024-25. During that season, she averaged 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game. Over the course of her three-year career, she has averaged 5.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. According to ESPN, Wolfenbarger was a regular starter for Arkansas, having started 26 of the 65 games she played. For LSU, she started nine of 37 games last season.
