Over his three years at Washington State, Gusta accumulated 62 tackles, six tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and four pass deflections. His addition comes at a crucial time for Kentucky, who needed to strengthen their defensive front after the departure of Keeshawn Silver. Gusta’s size, athleticism, and experience fill a significant gap and bolster the Wildcats as they gear up for a tough 2025 SEC schedule.

With Gusta on board, Kentucky’s defensive line is set to be even more formidable, reaffirming the Wildcats’ commitment to dominating the trenches. This is a big-time acquisition for Kentucky, who desperately needed to shore up their defensive line.
