Three rounds are officially complete, and just one day remains in the 2025 NFL Draft. Day 3 — a roughly seven-hour marathon covering rounds four through seven — kicks off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday. It’s the ultimate test for front offices, searching for hidden gems late in the draft and among the pool of undrafted free agents.

Through two days, the Vikings have made two selections, both on offense. On Thursday, they stood firm and took Ohio State guard Donovan Jackson at pick 24. After a long wait on Friday, they traded down from pick 97 to 102, landing Maryland wide receiver Tai Felton with the final pick of Day 2.
That late-night trade with Houston also allowed Minnesota to move up from pick 187 to 142. As it stands, the Vikings have back-to-back selections early in the fifth round — picks 139 and 142 — but no picks beyond that. Depending on how things shake out, GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah could look to trade down again to add more shots at finding talent.
Whether they stick at 139/142 or trade back, Minnesota has clear needs to address. After two offensive additions, the expectation is that the Vikings will focus on the defensive side. Cornerback, safety, and defensive tackle stand out as priority areas, though linebacker and edge rusher could also be in the mix. On offense, adding a running back or tight end would round out the roster nicely.
