In the latest NFL mock draft, the Minnesota Vikings have selected South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori with the 24th overall pick. Emmanwori’s stock has soared following his standout performance at the NFL combine, where he impressed scouts with a 4.38 40-yard dash, a 43-inch vertical jump, and an 11-foot-6 broad jump. His athleticism and impressive measurables have turned heads, moving him from a borderline late first-round pick to a first-round lock.
The Vikings are in need of youth in their secondary, especially with veteran safety Harrison Smith now 36 and Cam Bynum set to hit free agency.
