**KANSAS CITY, Mo.** – Former **Gilmer Buckeye** standout **Blake Lynch** has inked a **one-year deal** with the **Kansas City Chiefs**, as confirmed by the team’s official transaction report. This marks the sixth NFL team for Lynch, who has carved out a journeyman career since entering the league as an **undrafted free agent** out of **Baylor** in 2020.
Lynch initially joined the Chiefs’ **practice squad** in late December 2024 and made an impact in a **Week 18 loss** to the **Denver Broncos**, recording **six tackles**, including one for a loss.
