At the NFL Combine, Barron ran an impressive 4.39-second 40-yard dash. Standing 5-foot-11 and weighing 194 pounds, his combination of speed, size, and football intelligence gives him a strong chance to earn a starting role opposite Pat Surtain II or as a nickel corner in sub-packages.

Beyond his athletic talent, Barron also drew attention during the draft process for his character and maturity. On draft night, he made a heartfelt gesture by addressing the Broncos’ draft room to thank them for the life-changing opportunity—an emotional moment that quickly went viral. Coach Payton has since praised Barron’s humility and coachability as important cultural assets for the team.
