Despite already having a solid receiving corps, the Vikings still used one of their limited five draft picks to select Tai Felton, signaling a continued investment in the position. This decision is notable given the team’s other roster needs.
Jordan Addison has also been mentioned in trade discussions, likely due to his back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and the anticipation of him pursuing a top-tier contract soon. Trading Nailor would help free up cap space, and Felton could step into the No. 3 receiver role behind Justin Jefferson and Addison.
With Nailor entering the final year of his deal and no extension talks underway, the Vikings appear focused on preserving resources for a future extension for Addison—ensuring long-term stability for their dynamic receiving duo.
