JUST IN: Huge Injury Blow As Both Tight End And Safety Players Return Remains Uncertain For Next Big Clash.

The Minnesota Vikings (9-2) have officially ruled out tight end Josh Oliver (wrist/ankle) and safety Jay Ward (elbow) for their Week 13 home game against the Arizona Cardinals (6-5) on Sunday.

Oliver, who had started the first 10 games of the season, missed the Vikings’ Week 12 matchup against the Chicago Bears due to the ankle injury he sustained during the Tennessee game. He had been playing through a wrist injury earlier in the season, but the ankle injury ultimately kept him out in Chicago. Meanwhile, safety Jay Ward will also miss Sunday’s game due to an elbow injury that he suffered during the Bears game last week.

Tackle Cam Robinson (foot) has been listed as questionable for the game. Robinson was injured during the same Week 12 contest against Chicago, where he left early, and his availability for Sunday’s game remains uncertain. In Robinson’s absence, veteran David Quessenberry stepped in to fill his role for the final 62 of 71 offensive snaps, providing crucial depth along the offensive line.

In addition to the players ruled out or listed as questionable, several other Vikings players have been dealing with injuries but are expected to be available for the game.

These include outside linebackers Andrew Van Ginkel (thigh) and Pat Jones II (knee), defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard (toe), linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (shoulder), and receiver Brandon Powell (ankle). None of these players have been given any game-day designations, so they are expected to suit up for the game against the Cardinals.

As the Vikings approach this important matchup, these injuries will be closely monitored, as they could impact both the offense and defense. Minnesota will look to overcome the loss of key players like Oliver and Ward while relying on their depth to maintain their strong season performance.
