The Chicago Bears bolstered their pass rush just before the 2023 NFL trade deadline by trading for defensive end Montez Sweat from the Washington Commanders in exchange for a second-round draft pick. Now, a year later, general manager Ryan Poles is considering a similar move.
According to Erik Lambert of Sportsmockery’, two players have piqued Poles’ interest as the November 5 trade deadline approaches: Myles Garrett and Maxx Crosby. Garrett, who plays defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, was named the league’s defensive player of the year and has recorded 101 tackles for loss and 92.5 sacks in 107 regular-season games.
