Sam Darnold began the season as an MVP candidate, but a disappointing game against the New York Jets, followed by an average performance against the Lions, has diminished his earlier success.

Some analysts are now suggesting that the Vikings should explore upgrading their quarterback position to capitalize on their unexpected chance to compete for a Super Bowl in 2024. Timo Riske of Pro Football Focus recently tweeted that the Vikings should consider trading for Matthew Stafford, especially with the Rams currently struggling against the Raiders.
