Kansas State’s LAST SHOT: Can the Wildcats Save Their Season in the Big 12 Tournament?

Kansas State’s basketball team closed the regular season on a disappointing note with a **73-57 loss to Iowa State** on senior day, snapping a two-game win streak and dropping their record below .500. However, the Wildcats still have a chance to turn things around as they head to the **Big 12 Tournament**.

The 10th-seeded Wildcats (15-16, 9-11 Big 12) will face **15th-seeded Arizona State** (13-18, 4-16) in the first round at **6 p.m. Tuesday** in Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center. A victory would keep their season alive, setting up a matchup against **No. 7 Baylor** on Wednesday.

“When you have games remaining, there’s life,” said super-senior forward **David N’Guessan**, who leads the team in scoring (13.3 points per game) and rebounding (7.2). “Senior night didn’t go the way we wanted. I didn’t imagine losing my last home game.”

For Kansas State, the tournament represents a fresh start and an opportunity to end the season on a positive note.
