MAJOR-BREAKING: “Giants Flood WR Room with Surprising Post-Draft Signings — Hidden Gems or Desperation Moves?”

Giants Load Up on WR Talent After Drafting Malik Nabers in First Round

After selecting rising star Malik Nabers in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the New York Giants shifted their focus in 2025, addressing other positional needs before going all-in on wide receivers in undrafted free agency.

According to NorthJersey.com’s Art Stapleton, the Giants have already added six undrafted wideouts, including notable names like Notre Dame’s Beaux Collins, Ole Miss standout Antwane “Juice” Wells (a former teammate of Jaxson Dart), and Gardner-Webb burner Jordan Bly. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan reported that Bly even earned a $5,000 signing bonus — a sign of the team’s belief in his potential.

Rounding out the group are Louisiana’s Dalen Cambre, Virginia Tech’s Da’Quan Felton, and North Carolina’s Nate McCollum.

Interestingly, three of these UDFA receivers — Felton, Collins, and Wells — landed back-to-back-to-back in Dane Brugler’s 2025 pre-draft rankings for The Athletic, occupying spots 41 through 43, respectively, just behind several drafted players.

Brugler praised Collins (No. 42) as a fluid, agile receiver with deep-ball speed and body control, but flagged his inconsistent hands. Collins logged over 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns at Clemson but also dropped 13 passes, adding another 7 drops during his 2024 season at Notre Dame.

Felton (No. 41), a 6-foot-5 target, was noted for his long stride and ability to stretch the field, though Brugler emphasized his need for sharper route running and more consistent finishing. Felton peaked at Virginia Tech in 2023 with 667 yards and 8 scores but regressed the following season.

Wells (No. 43), who bounced from James Madison to South Carolina before finishing at Ole Miss, showed flashes of big-play ability and racked up a 1,200-yard season in 2021. Brugler described him as a strong, coordinated pass-catcher with YAC potential, though limited route polish and no special teams experience raise concerns.

With Nabers locked in as a potential star, these undrafted additions give the Giants a wide-open competition at wide receiver heading into training camp — and a chance for one or more overlooked prospects to make a surprise splash.
