The Minnesota Vikings have listed offensive tackle Cam Robinson as questionable on their final injury report for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson is dealing with a foot injury, which he aggravated during the Vikings’ 30-27 win over the Chicago Bears last Sunday.
He played just nine snaps in that game before being replaced by backup David Quessenberry, who struggled in Robinson’s absence. Quessenberry allowed four pressures on 38 pass-blocking snaps and finished with a Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade of 53.0, which tied him for the lowest on the team alongside right guard Dalton Risner.
Despite the injury, Robinson was able to practice fully on Friday, suggesting he may have a chance to play on Sunday. He participated in all three practice sessions throughout the week, which is a positive sign for his availability.
The Vikings will be hoping that Robinson can return to the lineup, as his presence would provide a significant boost to the offensive line, particularly after Quessenberry’s struggles in relief.
Robinson’s injury is a key concern for Minnesota, as they rely heavily on the offensive line to protect quarterback Kirk Cousins and establish the running game. While Quessenberry did step in, his performance highlights the importance of Robinson’s role in maintaining stability along the front line.
If Robinson is able to play, it would strengthen the offensive line and give the Vikings a better chance of containing the Arizona defense. If not, Minnesota may need to continue relying on Quessenberry or consider other adjustments to mitigate the impact of Robinson’s absence.
