MAJOR-BREAKING: Major Setback As Raiders Make Big Move To Land Vikings Promising Talent.

The Minnesota Vikings have an open spot on their practice squad following the news that the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly signing outside linebacker Andre Carter II to their active roster for the final three games of the season, as confirmed by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Carter originally joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent from Army in 2023 and impressed by securing a spot on the 53-man roster. Throughout the season, he played in 12 games, mostly contributing on special teams.

However, after the Vikings made their final cuts following training camp this year, Carter was released but re-signed to the practice squad. Despite being part of the practice squad, he was never called up to the active roster during the current season.

With Carter now heading to the Raiders, the Vikings are left with a vacant spot on their practice squad. As the playoffs draw near, it will be interesting to see how the Vikings address this opening. They may look to make adjustments to their roster, potentially adding a veteran player who could provide depth and help with a playoff push if they identify someone capable of contributing.

Once the Vikings fill Carter’s spot, we will provide an update on the move.
