MAJOR-BREAKING: “Overlooked CB Gets Shot with Vikings After Shutting Down Top NFL Draft Pick”

The Minnesota Vikings faced criticism for having one of the more underwhelming draft classes in 2025, largely due to a limited number of picks. However, their efforts in signing undrafted talent after the draft have helped close the gap and may rival any team in the league.

One of their latest additions is former Nebraska cornerback Tommi Hill, who has been invited to the Vikings’ rookie minicamp, as announced by Nebraska’s official Instagram account. Despite not being selected by any of the 32 NFL teams, Hill drew high praise during the pre-draft process.

Notably, No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter—a standout two-way player from Colorado—mentioned Hill during his NFL Combine media appearance, calling him one of the toughest cornerbacks he faced all season. “Toughest corner probably from either Nebraska or Oklahoma State,” Hunter said, referring to his September 7 matchup with Hill.

Though Hunter shined in that game with 10 receptions for 110 yards, Hill also made a major impact, recording six tackles and a pick-six in Nebraska’s 28-10 win. His standout performance and recognition from a Heisman Trophy winner may give him a real shot to stick with the Vikings.
