MAJOR-BREAKING: Unexpected Outcome As Yankees Get Rejected by Former World Series Champion All-Star

Although the New York Yankees remain one of the top teams in baseball, they continue to be mentioned in various trade and signing rumors. However, one veteran player has already made it clear he won’t be joining them in 2025.

Orlando Arcia, a former All-Star infielder recently released by the Atlanta Braves due to declining performance, drew interest from several clubs. According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, both the Yankees and Mets extended minor league offers to Arcia.

Yankees and Mets both offered Arcia minor league opportunities before he got the MLB deal with Rockies,” Heyman shared on X on May 28, 2025.

Arcia ultimately chose to sign a major league contract with the Colorado Rockies, turning down the New York teams. The Yankees’ decision to only offer a minor league deal likely played a key role in his choice to go elsewhere.
