MAJOR-NEWS: Giants Snub WRs in NFL Draft… But Just Secretly Landed Two Explosive Hidden Gems Who Could Shock Everyone

The New York Giants are being praised for a strong performance in this year’s NFL Draft, addressing several key areas on their roster with both short- and long-term improvements. However, one glaring omission stood out—they didn’t select a single wide receiver. Still, the Giants may have found some hidden gems after the draft, signing a pair of undrafted rookie wideouts with intriguing potential worth watching closely this offseason.

One of those signings is Notre Dame receiver Beaux Collins, who brings much-needed size to the Giants’ receiving group. The 6-foot-3 pass-catcher went undrafted but quickly landed in New York. Over his college career, Collins played in 32 games at Clemson, making 91 catches for 1,290 yards and 11 touchdowns before transferring to Notre Dame, where he added 490 yards and three scores in 2023. He’ll likely start out contributing on special teams, but his size, strength, and athleticism give him a chance to climb the depth chart if he impresses during camp and preseason.

The Giants also made a move that could benefit their new franchise quarterback, Jaxson Dart, by signing one of his former college targets, Antwane Wells Jr. The 6-foot-1 receiver spent two years at South Carolina before transferring to Ole Miss in 2024, where he played 13 games and totaled 553 yards and six touchdowns. His strong senior year earned him All-SEC honorable mention recognition.

Wells’ familiarity with Dart could give the duo an edge during training camp, as their existing chemistry might help ease the quarterback’s transition into the NFL. As both rookies aim to prove themselves this summer, their connection at Ole Miss could play a valuable role in their development and the Giants’ offensive outlook.
