MAJOR-UPDATE: Giants Linked With NFL Draft’s Most Physically Gifted in 6’4″ Playmaker with Freakish Athleticism and Elite Upside After Meeting

The New York Giants continue to evaluate potential additions ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, with three more prospects now linked to pre-draft visits on Sunday, April 13.

According to The Athletic‘s Giants beat writer Dan Duggan, the latest names on their radar are TCU wide receiver Savion Williams, Oklahoma State linebacker Collin Oliver, and Oklahoma State cornerback Korie Black.

Among the trio, Williams stands out as the most notable prospect. The Athletic’s lead draft analyst Dane Brugler projects him as a third- or fourth-round pick and highlights his rare physical traits.

Describing Williams as a “big, physically imposing athlete,” Brugler notes the 6-foot-4 receiver “looks like Adonis” with his sculpted frame and long reach. Ranked as the 14th-best wide receiver in the class, Williams has shown the ability to win contested catches and make plays above the rim.

However, Brugler also points out that Williams must become more confident in his hands and sharpen his route running. TCU leaned heavily on his athleticism in 2024, designing plays to showcase his skills with the ball in hand. Despite his upside, he remains inconsistent as a traditional wideout.

Brugler refers to Williams as more of a modern “joker” weapon — a versatile offensive threat capable of lining up in multiple positions, such as wide receiver, tight end, or running back. This kind of player creates mismatches for defenses and adds flexibility to offensive schemes.

With 1,655 career receiving yards and 14 touchdowns across 52 games, Williams certainly has production on his résumé. Still, he’ll need to address his reliability after being credited with 16 drops in college.
