With the 2025 NFL Draft set to kick off Thursday night in Green Bay, I’m putting out one final prediction of how the first round might unfold.
While trades are almost certainly going to shake things up once the draft begins, I’m sticking with each team’s current draft position for this final mock—just like I’ve done in previous versions.
1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami (Senior)
The Titans hoped Will Levis would be the answer at quarterback, but it hasn’t panned out. They hit the reset button with Cam Ward—a strong-armed, mobile quarterback ready to take the reins.
2. Cleveland Browns – Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado (Junior)
Although quarterback is a major need, the Browns go with the Heisman winner and arguably the top talent in the draft. Initially, Hunter will headline the offense as WR1, but he’ll see some time on defense, too.
3. New York Giants – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State (Junior)
Could Shedeur Sanders be in play here? Possibly. But in the end, the Giants shore up the pass rush with one of the best defensive prospects in the class.
4. New England Patriots – Will Campbell, OT, LSU (Junior)
This could be the draft’s first major curveball if the Patriots go for RB Ashton Jeanty. But instead, they opt for a plug-and-play left tackle who solidifies the offensive line from day one.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State (Junior)
Here’s where the crowd gets loud. New head coach Liam Coen lands a dynamic weapon to help unlock Trevor Lawrence’s full potential.
