On Thursday, Chisholm signed a one-year deal with the Yankees, agreeing to a $5.85 million salary for the 2025 season. This contract keeps him with the team through 2026, at which point he will be eligible for free agency. In his time with the Yankees, he showcased his true potential, outperforming his previous numbers with the Miami Marlins. While he posted a solid 100 wRC+ with 13 home runs and 22 stolen bases in 101 games for Miami, he raised those numbers to a 132 wRC+, 11 home runs, and 18 steals in just 46 games in New York.
