The Kentucky Wildcats have officially lined up their first transfer portal visitor.
According to On3’s Joe Tipton, Florida State forward Taylor Bol Bowen is set to visit Kentucky on Tuesday before making a trip to Alabama.
The 6-foot-10, 195-pound Bowen was a 4-star recruit ranked 110th overall in the 2023 class by 247 Sports. Interestingly, Kentucky’s previous coaching staff had already recruited him, and reports suggest the Wildcats reached out again during the NCAA Tournament—indicating strong mutual interest.
During the past season, Bowen averaged 8.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks while shooting an impressive 41.4% from three on 2.4 attempts per game. He primarily played as a power forward but also spent time at center, per KenPom.
