Will Campbell, the standout former LSU offensive tackle, is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2025 NFL Draft. As a key player in LSU’s successful football program, Campbell has emerged as a top talent alongside recent LSU NFL stars like Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson. With his impressive performance, Campbell is projected to be a top-10 selection, though where he lands remains uncertain.
Several teams picking early in the draft are in need of an offensive tackle, making them prime landing spots for Campbell. Let’s look at some of the best destinations for him:
New England Patriots – Pick 4
The Patriots, who selected quarterback Drake Maye last year, are now focused on protecting their franchise QB. If they decide to draft an offensive lineman, Campbell would likely be the choice. With the potential to start immediately, Campbell could fit in perfectly at tackle, though there are some questions about his arm length.
New York Jets – Pick 7
Although the Jets may still be searching for their quarterback of the future, they could look to bolster their offensive line if they don’t select a QB like Shedeur Sanders at pick 7. With a need at tackle, Campbell would be a solid addition to their roster, though a move to guard could also be an option.
New Orleans Saints – Pick 9
If Campbell slides to the ninth pick, the Saints might take the opportunity to strengthen their offensive line. However, with the Saints already having a left tackle in Taliese Fuaga, adding Campbell would require a positional change or a move to guard. Despite that, Campbell’s potential could make this a worthwhile selection.
Chicago Bears – Pick 10
If Campbell makes it past the top nine picks, the Chicago Bears would be in an excellent position to grab him at 10. Under head coach Ben Johnson, who comes from Detroit where he built a dominant offensive line, the Bears would likely want to fortify their front line with Campbell, who would fit right in.
Unless a team trades up later in the first round, Campbell is most likely to land in one of these four spots.
