Will Marcus Stroman take the mound for the New York Yankees in 2025?
After showing up for his physical, Stroman has skipped the first two days of workouts, raising questions about his status. Yankees manager Aaron Boone addressed the situation, sharing his perspective with Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. “I knew he might miss the first couple of days,” Boone told reporters. “But nothing has changed from what I’ve said about where he’s at mentally and physically. I understand how it looks with all the noise surrounding him this offseason… However, based on my communication with him last night and this morning, I believe he’s ready to go, both mentally and physically. Hopefully, he’ll be here in the next few days.” Boone also noted that Stroman isn’t required to report just yet, as players have until February 22 to arrive before spring training officially begins.
